Meet Dr. Wright

Dear Prospective Patient,

A lot has changed in healthcare

as a result of COVID-19.

However, knowing that you are in good hands remains a primary concern for every patient.

Professionally speaking,

I received my undergraduate degree with honors from Wayne State University.  At the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, I received the Clarence Clement Award for academic achievement along with honors in surgery. During my senior year I was accepted to a highly competitive Plastic Surgery rotation at Straith Hospital.  Upon graduation I continued residency training at the Michigan Health Center with rotations in emergency medicine, orthopedic, general and cardiovascular surgery.

Additional training was completed in podiatric trauma and reconstructive surgery at the Miami Veterans Administration hospital.

In 1991, I entered private practice

in Southfield, Michigan and became board certified in 1998.  Of notable mention, I was recognized as the first female attending surgeon at the most nationally recognized hospital for foot surgery; Kern Hospital.

Today, I enjoy serving the Tri County/ Metro Detroit area with a focus on diabetic care, limb preservation and aesthetic foot surgery.

On a personal note, I'm a wife and mother of two. When I'm not with patients, I'm having fun at the piano or in front of children giving back to the community. I'm connected to several programs designed to inspire and encourage young children into STEM careers.
